Pray

♥ We Pray At 12am
Yesterday night, we had a combined caregroup in church using BM hall. There were around 50+- UTM students. I participated in a sketch. It was fun, indeed. xD
We were so blessed to have one new convert yesterday. He is a postgraduate(master) student from China. Praise God! In the month of December, there are two new converts. Both of them are joining my caregroup. Hallelujah!!

The caregroup ended at around 11pm. Bro Elaijah continued to stay with the Hope Church uni members for House Of Prayer. We started our sharing. We talked about what we lost after joining the Vision as well as what we gained. Our hearts were just opened to each and another. Then, we were asked to think which of them has eternal value. In fact, we knew the answer pretty well. When I looked back the journey I had gone through, I don't think that I was losing as I had got the best. It's the best part after all, renewing of mind. A sign of growing! The clock was ticking. We were still in the church! At 11.57pm, bro Elaijah, "Let's pray!".. We closed our eyes, we bowed our heads, we spoke in tongue, we prayed hard, we enjoyed it somehow. Holy spirit was in the hall. "Amen!" it was 12.08+-am! We had been actually praying from 2009 to 2010... I simply loved that. There were no fancy fireworks, no extremely high feeling, no snow spraying, no alcohol, no clubbing, no wild fun, but just really simple.Hmm.. I was not alone, in fact. There were my shepherd, a true God lover who totally laid down himself indeed; my caregroup leader, a handsome one who gave up working in Singapore as an architect with a good pay; an ex-AIESEC UTM President, ex-AIESEC Malaysia Vice President who gave up the oportunity to become the AIESEC(World's largest student organization) World Committee Member; two sisters who gave up the scholarship to Korea and Japan respectively; a bro who continued to stay with us despite having chance to fulfill his (previous) dream to be an entrepreneur with his friends; and more. What's on earth are those sacrifices?! in fact, the Vision has changed many of us, still. Our world view, mindset are being reset. We can still rejoice in it anyhow, somehow. What Vision is that if it's not from God? Matthew 28:18-20, 22:37-39The people I mentioned above are mostly graduates from UTM that continue being postgraduate students, taking Master or PhD. They see the need of staying in UTM, being a blessing to the bro, sis there, becoming shepherd of many and fulfilling the Great Commission. They should have started working and enjoying their wonderful young adulthood at this point of life but they didn't. They stayed until the time of leaving has come according to the leaders. Yet, they leave with good reasons, some for church planting or a more efficient serving in church. Does this "burn" you?Take a break, here's the photos of Hope JB. =)The pictures say it all... Tell me, how could you not love this family of God? They are so united in Christ! My tears drop when I see through all the pictures. God has been so faithful! It's impossible if there's no God!I love this family of God! There are bunch of sacrificial bro sis who always put God at first in their lives as they have acknowledged God's unconditional love towards them! There are nothing greater than this on earth. We serve together and I really love it...Let's continue to lay down ourselves for God's kingdom and believe that God is going to do greater things in 2010!!!
Glory to God!!

♥ Count the Countless
What is countless? For math students, a term would have probably got into your mind, “Infinity”. Infinity (symbolically represented by ∞) is a concept in mathematics and philosophy that refers to a quantity without bound or end. Let’s try thinking of something that is infinite. Stars on the sky? The Universe? In Genesis, God created everything. God definitely has known all the things that seems to be absolutely unknown to human. Since the “infinite” universe is created by God. So, what is infinite? Yes you get it right, God is infinite, countless. This is amazing!
Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Must watch! =D
Alright, I know you would prefer something that seems to be seriously real to you. 1 John 4:8 says that God is love. Huhuh! God = Infinity; God = Love; Love = Infinity. Simple math. =) Is love real to you? If it is not real, you probably have never noticed that your life is real and you have lived for few 10 years. =.=" If you have seriously gone through my previous post(Leaving The Earth), you are no longer a “noob” on Love. Hah, jk. In fact, I was once never having a total idea of Love. Everything changed when I came to know Jesus and again I changed when I started committing myself into church ministry. God really knows me, ask Him for further information la~ LOL, jk! You see, that’s why I write blog. I have been continuously encouraged by the Christians’ bro sis around me so I would pass on the encouragement from time to time, and dear readers, please do so as long as you have this conviction too. Let’s talk something interesting! Recently, people are concerning about the pointer/result for what people get for the 1st semester. This is kinda like an evaluation to the people around. I will explain to you how it works to some people. Nyeknyek.. If someone gets 4.0, gossip and expression of surprise will be started at the spur of the moment. “Wow, I never know that he/she is so geng huh!; Why he/she is so lucky?!; Lecturers help him/her 1 la?!; Wa.. that person study until get 4.0, someday he/she will ki siao!; Aiya, too bad he/she is not a lengzai/lenglui!; Wasai, that hot guy gets 4.0?! I start falling in love with him la…etc” Haha!! This is quite true, you see. Hmm, probably this is like a short-term evaluation. If someone has a good result, probably he/she is smart or hardworking. ^^" Ahem.. I’m being acknowledged the smartest among 1SKP Chinese (1st year in Petroleum Engineering). I’m not that smart, seriously really indeed. Anyway, I thank God at first! My IQ is normal. I’m extremely an ordinary person.
My 1st Sem Result
Then, am I that kind of person who is hardworking, studious? Share with you another secret. Actually, I'm known as the smartest among others because I still can score well even I don’t study as much as they do! This is amazing right? Well, so I’m out from the hardworking-student category. My course mates don’t believe in luck so they think that I’m smart. Hahaha, they have been so wrong! Tell you another option of answer to fulfill your curiosity. This is actually a blessing. Please don’t think that it’s ridiculous. God is the richest person in the universe. He has more than 6,000 kinds of blessings that He wants to give to us. When you believe, we, heirs of God, have the right to ask God for good things in our lives: for a good health, our daily needs, for peace and joy in our hearts, for a new transformed life and many other blessings that God wants to bestow on us!
All we need to do is as simple as 123. (LOL, not really easy, in fact)
Asking and Praying Matthew 7:7-8 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. We should pray in Jesus’ name (John 16:24, 14:12-14). God’s blessing come to us by the power of His name. We must pray with faith (Matthew 21:22, James 5:15)
Obeying God and following His Word When we have a close relationship with God, obey His Word and live our lives in His will, not our own will, He will definitely bestow His blessings to us according to the level of our commitment and obedience. 1 John 3:22 and receive from him anything we ask, because we obey his commands and do what pleases him. John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.
Giving Luke 6:38 "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." The third way of receiving blessings is to “give”. If we give to others, God will pour out His blessings into our lives. Malachi 3:10 tells us that when we give to God, He will out an abundance of blessings. Acts 20:35 says “It is more blessed to give than to receive." Stars are countless, for us. However, God knows them all. Instead, God's love and grace are countless. Love and grace of God is somehow manifested through the blessing we have got! It's good to count the blessings sometime as we are seldom grateful. Start replaying the journey you have gone through so far and you would be amazed! This is never easy without God! God would still bless us even we are ignorant against Him, how could it be? Yea, because He has countless love and grace for us and the blessings we get will never end here. Christmas is just around the corner. Let's show our gratitude for what Jesus has done!
Zephaniah 3:17 "The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing."Life goes on with hope, faith and love! =)

♥ Blue Print
A voice says, "Cry out."And I said, "What shall I cry?""All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.
The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the LORD blows on them.Surely the people are grass.
The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever."
Isaiah 40:6-8
What is the blue print of building our lives? It's the word of God! We need to anchor ourselves upon the word of God and we shall not go on a drift! Amen!
Anyway, I'm going to update my blog with more articles! =)

♥ Dad's Story
Today, my parents and I attend a wedding dinner in a restaurant. Well, the youngest daughter of my neighbour is getting married. =)The wedding dinner is carried out typically according to the Chinese custom and the restaurant is full with mostly the people from my kampung. My kampung is small and every person just knows each and another. The dinner is started with dishes and a beautiful voice singing several Teresa Teng's songs. I'm simply captivated. Then it is followed by the open-singing section. Lots of aunty and some uncle get unto the stage. Gosh.. the singing... errrrr.. I assume you get what I mean.. LOLSuddenly, a name Chen Xing 陈兴 is called to the stage for a song. Several old uncles are clapping their hands. I don't know the name but it's quite closed to my dad's, Chen Cheng Xing 陈成兴. I notice my dad somehow walking to the stage. I rush to him and say, "Papa, not calling you!" He says in return, "Someone has called me for a song." "Not you la, don't go." At the same time, I hear voices pursuing him.Well, I has successfully stopped him and I see my mom rushing out from the toilet. Strange..
My parents =)Fyi, my dad loves singing. Last time when I was small, I used to hear him singing a lot. Unfortunately, late of 2006, my dad had been verified to have cancer, 3rd stage, on his throat. Recalling my memory, I was really miserable that time and sometimes cry alone. Thank God, my dad is now fully recovered! He lost his voice, sadly. He still can speak of course and sometimes sing. However, he no longer has nice voice. Well, I sense that he has never noticed that, don't know why.... =.=
That's probably the main reason I stop him from performing a song. Too soon, the dinner has ended. We greet the bride and bridegroom before leaving. In the car, my mom tells me, "XXX's father is the one giving papa's name to the MC." Wow, I wonder how she discovers that. Anyway, Chen Xing is not my dad's name! Somehow, I feel that my dad is trying to express his unsatisfiable eagerness to perform singing in front of many. I'm kinda sorry. In fact, I don't have the heart to let him embarrassingly singing in the hall like what other aunty uncle does. Oppss...My mon continues, "Chen Xing is your papa's "Artist name (艺名)" when he was young." Huh?! What's on earth is that?! Then I remember the story my dad used to tell me... "I was really great in singing last time and I was a part-time singer. I joined quite many performances also." In fact, I was never convinced with that statement. After that, I ask why would he use the name Chen Xing 陈兴 instead of his real name Chen Cheng Xing 陈成兴? He says Chen Xing 陈兴 sounds nicer. Wow, I see... I feel that a piece of my dad's precious memories is triggered. He starts telling stories. Then, I'm very astonished to find out that he actually composed a few songs. He sings them out spontaneously in the car. The songs are really familiar as I'm really used to hear him singing when I was small. I never thought that the songs were made by himself! Guess what, one of the song that my dad composed was even used by a great famous singer at 70's, Lee Yi 李逸.I google 李逸 and I'm surprised to find that he was one of the most famous singers among Chinese Asian at that time and was from Malaysia. Gosh..! I start to believe what my dad says.My dad continues, "I used to go on stage and sing when I was young(around 20) and many people around the neighborhood knew me." Well, I think that is quite reasonable as his "Artist name" is still remembered by the elder people in my kampung. I personally ask my mom about Chen Xing. LOL. Surprisingly, my mom had even heard of him that time. My mom apparently not stayed in my kampung that time. o.O"Gonggong(my grandpa) don't like me to sing. He said I might would turn bad." my dad adds on. Then my mom tells me personally, "Your gonggong kept your papa's motor key, stopped him from joining the final of a significant singing competition." Awww.. Quite sad isn't it..?It was already 30++ years. My dad then went to work in KL for several years and then came back to my kampung, inherited the oil palm industry of my grandpa. He had always wanted to sing. Too bad, there were no Redbox that time to fulfill his singing desire and he can no longer sing nicely now due to the cancer he got few years ago.Anyway, he would still sing in the house sometimes and when he asks me for feedback. I will say, "Not bad~" Otherwise, he would try again until he gets the reasonable compliment. ^^"That's all! =D(p/s: conversation between my family and I is in Chinese)

♥ The Prophesy
Yesterday I went for the movie "2012" in Penang. It's so mind-boggling and real!I can't help goosefleshing for many times, seem as I'm the one who witness the unprecedented terrifying disaster of the world
Please open the time line above in new tab for a clearer view. I have been continuously astounded by numerous serious disasters that occur through out the 21st century. What's on EARTH are those killing disaster?! Since the catastrophe has come one by one, prophecy of end time no longer seems to be ridiculous to many people. Regrettably, people in the course of nature lives by sight but not by faith.Thank God, Malaysia is still safe! At the same time, several reports has come out, insisting that Malaysia would be struck by natural disaster as well soon. In fact, we are way too enjoying ourselves in the indeed comfort zone. After watching the movie "2012", I'm inspired, well, perhaps warned is the more suitable word to use. Friends, can you see anything going wrong on earth?Let's see. At the time a one world government will be portrayed as a solution to all our problems, and the leaders will fool the world that it will bring peace. It will bring false peace for a short while, but it will be followed by tribulation. The most likely cause of a one world government would be a worldwide crisis to cause panic. This could be something like a natural disaster, war, terrorist attack, financial crises, or a supernatural event. One of these things could be deliberately engineered by people wanting to take over the world so they can gain power.Nevertheless, the order and magnitude of events during the tribulation is foretold in the Bible. During the first half initially there will be the following sequence of events (Revelation 6, 8:1-5) :
An agreement of false peace.
War.
Famine.
Death to 1/4 of the earth's population due to famine, war and wild animals.
Christians being martyred for their beliefs.
A great earthquake where the moon turns red and sun goes black. The sky appears to roll up with falling stars. Every mountain and island moves from its place, with people so afraid that they hide themselves in caves and amongst rocks from God.
Noises, thunderings, lightnings and an earthquake.
The book of Revelation is the last book in bible which was written by apostle John approximately 1914 years ago. How could a person of ancient know such thing if he was not being inspired by God? War and famine already happen nowadays. Add on, many earthquakes have shaken the earth from time to time. Anyway, I could never figure out the one earthquake mentioned in the book of Revelation. The following happen towards the end of the tribulation (Revelation 16) :
A severe sore comes upon people, with the mark of the Antichrist needed to buy or sell.
The sea becomes as blood and every living creature in the sea dies.
Rivers and springs become blood.
The sun scorches people.
There is darkness in the Antichrist's kingdom and people gnawed their tongues due to their pain. They blaspheme God and do not repent.
The Euphrates River dries up and paves a way for the kings of the east, which gather, along with others from the whole world, for the battle of Armageddon.
The greatest earthquake ever causes all the islands and mountains to disappear, and Jerusalem to be split into three parts.

Sigh... I'm somehow sad when come to know the prophesies about the destruction of the entire world. Most probably, I couldn't have the heart to see the earth that was originally made perfectly by God has to be gone. Everything would have come to a past. What else can I hold on to? Money? Properties? Glory? Career? Study? No way... Even the impressive knowledge contributed by the ancient wise men, including Buddha, Confucius, Albert Einstein, etc can't help me escape from death. Samsara aka reincarnation which is preached by Buddhism will be gone as there will have no next generation if it ever existed. I can hold on to nothing but just the faith toward God as well as the Lord Jesus! My friends, do you believe in Heaven and Hell? Let's me do a reasonable analysis.
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
John 14:1-3 Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me(Jesus). In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.
Act 4:11-12 He(Jesus) is " 'the stone you builders rejected, which has become the capstone.' Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Philippians 3:20-21 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.As the bible says, as we believe in Jesus, we shall not perish but have eternal life in heaven. In short, the bible tells us that when we put out faith on God as well as Jesus, we can enter heaven. So, let me go ahead with the analysis.
AFTER DEATHIf heaven and hell exist,Believe in God & Jesus ----> Go to heaven! =DNot believe in God & Jesus ----> Not going to heaven = going to hell!
T____TIf heaven and hell do not exist,Believe in God & Jesus ----> Not going anywhere, die means die la!
= . =lllNot believie in God & Jesus ----> Not going anywhere also~ = \Heheh! Believe in God & Jesus is always the smarter choice! In fact, smarter than using DiGi!That's why I say, we should put our faith on God! By God's grace, we would discuss more about salvation next time. =)
Salvation means being saved from spending eternity in torment after death. It means our sins are forgiven by God and we have received His gift of eternal life in heaven.
Glory To God Forever, AMEN
